Rigjobs.co.uk was set up in 1999 by a group of UK offshore workers and former UK offshore workers who were concerned by the lack of good, honest information about the UK and international offshore oil industry. Many other sites have come and gone in that time. We are an officially recognized UK Oil Industry web site, providing a quality service and have helped many people gain employment.

Since then our interests in recruitment aspects of the offshore oil industry has grown. So much so that in 2001 we launched Rigjobs employment agency. Rigjobs.co.uk is a fully-owned subsidiary of Rigjobs.

We wanted to produce a honest site that provided good information. As time has gone by we have introduced new services. We have a free manual called "How to Get a Job Offshore." It is based on real experiences.

Our CV/Resume submit service is there for those serious about getting a job offshore. This service will never be offered free. If it were free every visitor to our site would send their CV/Resume. The companies on the list would get fed up with receiving thousands of CV/Resumes every month and would delete their names from the list. The service would then cease to exist for those that would find benefit from it.

Compare the price we charge with other CV distribution services. Ours is by a long way the best value for money we have ever seen.

Basically Rigjobs.co.uk website is an information provision website with oil industry employment vacancies, CV distribution service and online community. We are well known in the industry and provide a quality service. We get a lot of compliments about our site and services. We don't get it 100% right 100% of the time but we have dealt with the one minor complaint that we recently had. This page is a result of that complaint.
