Court rule on deepwater drilling

Deepwater drilling in the Atlantic Ocean, west of Shetland has been ongoing for over a decade. Activity in the region has steadily increased as technology and techniques improve. Now in the light of the Deepwater Horizon disaster, Greenpeace have taken legal action against the UK government in a bid to halt new exploration drilling in this environmentally sensitive area.
