New North Sea Oil and Gas Discovery

More commonly known for their container shipping arm, the Danish company Maersk has struck oil and gas in the North Sea. Exploration expansion to their Culzean well has discovered what is thought to be a very significant oil and gas reservoir.
The Ensco 101 jackup drilled the well. Maersk is the major partner (49.99%). The other partners being JX Nippon UK (17.06%), Eni UK (16.95%) and BP (16.00%).
